2-component paint developed for application to flatbeds in flatbed trucks. The urethane composition dries quickly and offers excellent UV protection. Easy to use: fill, shake and spray. Very effective for painting even larger flatbeds, coverage approx. 3m²/1l (mixed). The treated surface does not need to be waxed. It is highly resistant to wear and protects against rust, salt, moisture and extreme temperatures. Creates a waterproof, flexible, sound and vibration insulating surface. The product can be applied with a spray gun, roller or brush to obtain different surfaces. The package contains: 4 x 710 ml of primer and 950 ml of hardener. Mixing ratio: 3:1 primer: hardener. Open time at +20°C: 60 min. Dry to the touch at +20°C: less than 1 h before film formation. Thin film cures in 2-3 days. Thick film cures in 5-7 days. Can be applied to original surface treated surfaces. Surface must be lightly sanded and free of dirt and rust. For bare metal, it is recommended to use a suitable ETCH primer, e.g. U-POL ACID#8 (108-A801 450ml aerosol and 108-A811 1l can). Application: Add 238 ml of hardener to the primer bottle. Close the cap and shake the bottle vigorously for 2 min. Remove the cap and attach a spray gun with the air pressure set to 2.76-4.82 BAR (40-70 PSI). Apply. Multiple coats can be applied, allowing 60 minutes of drying time between coats. If necessary, touch-up painting can be carried out after cleaning the surface and removing oil or grease. The multi-color effect is achieved by first applying one color and letting it dry, then applying the second color, increasing the distance from the object and changing the spraying speed. The ideal temperature is +20°C degrees, where the humidity is below 60%. Do not place heavy weights on the surface until it is completely dry.
